1.      The Scholarship may be awarded to meritorious students studying in the 5 year B.A.B.L., (Hons.) Degree Course in the School of Excellence in Law The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.
2.      While awarding merit scholarship to a student of I year of the 5 year B.A.B.L., (Hons.) Degree Course, merit may be judged on the basis of performance of the student in the qualifying examination. In the case of II year, the performance of the student in the I year of the 5 year B.A. B.L., (Hons.) Degree Course shall be taken in to account and in the case of III year, the performance of the student in the II year of the B.A.B.L., (Hons.) Degree Course may be taken into account and so on, till the end of the 5th year of the course.
3.      A student, who passes all the subjects in the first attempt and secures a minimum of 50% of the total marks, will alone be eligible for this scholarship.
4.      This scholarship may be awarded to a student, whose parent/guardian’s income does not exceed Rs.60,000/- p.a. (A certificate shall be obtained from the Revenue Authorities.)
5.      Where both the parents are employed or earning, the income of both the parents shall be collectively taken into consideration for the purpose of calculating the ceiling limit.

          Surana & Surana Endowment Scholarships are awarded to two SC/ST students, studying in the School of Excellence in Law, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, annually based on merit.


Sri. V. Sridevan Endowment Scholarship
          Sri. V. Sridevan Endowment Scholarship will be awarded to a student getting first mark in the M.L. Intellectual Property Law Degree Course, at the Convocation of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.

     The Prof. Thirumalaisamy Audisesan Gold Medal shall be awarded every year in the Convocation of the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University to

(a) Student getting First Rank in the 3 year Law course
(b) Student getting First Rank in the 3 year Law course
(c) Student getting First Rank in the 5 year B.A.B.L., (Hons.) Degree Course
